The President's Away Days - April 2010

Royal Tunbridge Wells

A party of 50 Rotarians, Inner Wheel Members and partners enjoyed three days of fun and fellowship in Kent at the end of April 2010

Staying at the excellent Spa Hotel in Royal Tunbridge Wells, we were able to enjoy a visit to Sir Winston Churchill's former home at Chartwell, the tulip festival at Pashley Manor Gardens, a wine tasting at the Chapel Down Vinery and a visit to Finchcocks Musical Museum - complete with a recital by the proprietor, Richard Burnett. A black tie dinner on Monday 26th rounded off the trip.

Many thanks to Alan Phelps for all of the hard work and planning that made everything so enjoyable.

Here, in no particular order, are just a few photos from the weekend.
