We are pleased to announce details for this year's Rotary Young Photographer competition. We hope as many of you as possible will be inspired to enter. The theme for this year is Olympic Dreams or Olympic Spirit

The competition is open to any individuals, age 7-18 to enter. There are good prizes and opportunities for prize-winners to enter District and National Competitions.

PRIZES: £100.00 1st prize in each category and £30.00 2nd prize in each category

There are three ages categories, Junior (Aged 7 to 10 years) Intermediate (Aged 11 to 13 years) and Senior (Aged 14 to 17 years).

The competition is jointly sponsored by the Rotary Clubs of Ware, Hertford, Amwell and Hertford Shires.

Entrants will be asked to submit a portfolio of four different prints, either colour or black and white, no larger than A4 size. In addition each entrant must provide in no more than 50 words, a description of the inspiration for their photographs and how they reflect the theme.

All entries must be accompanied by an official entry form which can be downloaded HERE along with a full copy of the rules.

Photographs of people under 18 years of age must be accompanied by a written permission from the parent, guardian or carer of the person photographed. Permissions that are required by law should be sought by the photographer and Rotary bears no responsibility for any action taken by anyone against the photographer.
