President's Handover
The 1st of July marks the start of a new Rotary Year and so, at our meeting on Monday July 4th 2011, outgoing President George Wallace handed on the Chain of Office to incoming President Roger Williams. On behalf of the Club, Roger congratulated George on an excellent year of good Rotary and wished him well as he takes over the role of Assistant Governor, covering the five local Rotary Clubs in the Lea Valley Zone, before presenting him with his Past President's Jewel.
President Roger then handed on the President Elect's Chain of Office to Stephen Lowe.

There is also a certain amount of Club Business that needs to be conducted.
To this end, Club Committees meet on average once every two months - to review our activities and to plan for future events. These meetings are usually held after dinner at our regular Monday night meetings, and they will be followed two weeks later by a Club Business meeting where all members will be able to raise any issues, ask questions or contribute ideas.
See our DIARY PAGE for further details of forthcoming meetings.
