Rotary in Beds, Bucks & Herts

Rotary Clubs around the world are organised into administrative areas known as Districts. Amwell Rotary Club is a member of Rotary District 1260 which roughly covers the three counties of Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire and Hertfordshire. There are presently some 53 Rotary Clubs in this district.

Each District is presided over by a District Governor and Amwell Rotary Club is very proud to have provided two District Governors in the twenty nine years of its existence. Derek Adams was District Governor in 1999 to 2000 and Ian Holliday was District Governor in 2002 to 2003.

The January 2010 Edition of the DG's newsletter can be downloaded HERE - This is a pdf file and you will need Adobe Reader to be able to view it.

District 1260 is the conduit by which Amwell Rotary Club can comment on Rotary policy at District, National & International Level.

All Club Committees are mirrored at District level and District 1260 offers support and advice for all member clubs.
